It’s all about cocktails, cool cats and chicks, retro-fashion, rock-n-roll oldies, Hot Rods, and more at this years’ COCKTAIL Rebel. Take a stroll down nostalgia lane on Friday, July 24 8p-12a at the beautiful McNay Art Museum.
Our 3rd Annual COCKTAIL will feature several highly celebrated bartenders competing for the best mouth watering crafted cocktail, guests will sample tasty bites from local restaurants of all types, and you’re not going to want to miss all the fun themed entertainment staged throughout this pin-up greaser event. Live local DJ’s and bands will be rockin’ your socks off all night, burlesque dancers will spice things up with a tease, and a 1950’s beauty bar and barber will be onsite if you want to get your do done! Attendees are encouraged to bring out their inner James Dean and Bettie Page 1950’s era attire and celebrate the City’s cocktail culture for a good cause. Rockabilly only rolls around once this year so don’t miss out on this swinging good time!
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the McNay Art Museum, a 501 c3 non-profit, San Antonio’s premiere modern art museum. Their mission is to collect, preserve and exhibit works of art, and to educate the public toward a greater understanding and enjoyment of the visual arts.
Tickets are $45
A limited number of parking spots are available onsite for guests who purchased a $60 ticket. Guests can park at the Alamo Heights High School (6900 Broadway) and board a quick shuttle to the McNay. Shuttles will run every 15 minutes from 7:30 p.m.-1:30 a.m.
